Who We Are

Troop 193 is a “scout led troop”. The Patrol Leaders Council, led by the Senior Patrol Leader, plan and conduct the troop meetings and activities. The troop provides many opportunities for formal leadership development by having scouts serve in troop leadership positions. If the scouts can think it up, we’ll do our best to make it happen!

Parents are welcome to all of our troop events. We encourage adults to become involved with the troop. There is, however, required specific training for full participation in Troop 93 adult volunteers, including Youth Protection Training.

Who can be a Scout? Anyone ages 11-17 can join scouting. Girls who are 10 may join if they have completed 5th grade or have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light Award.

Meetings

Troop meetings are Tuesdays at 7pm at Oakmont Chapel fellowship hall. Though, on occasion, meetings may be on at different day or at a different location to fully utilize our outdoor/community/leadership facets of the program.
